BREVARD, N.C. – Lizzie Graham’s penalty kick in the 102nd minute sent the Brevard College women’s soccer team to a 1-0 double-overtime win over Mars Hill on Saturday afternoon at Brevard Soccer Field in South Atlantic Conference (SAC) action. The Tornados improve to 4-11 overall and 2-8 in conference while the Lions fall to 0-15-1 and 0-10.
SALISBURY, N.C. – A defensive stop gave Brevard an opportunity for a potential game-winning drive late in the fourth quarter, but the Catawba defense held the Tornados without a first down on the final drive in the Indians’ 42-37 victory.
HARROGATE, Tenn. – Much like in Friday night’s match with Carson-Newman, the Brevard volleyball team was able to take a set against one of the conference’s elite teams. The Tornados, however, were unable to prevail, falling 3-1 to Lincoln Memorial in its sixth consecutive conference defeat.
