Tornados finish 13th in Tusculum Golf Invitational

Lewis leads way finishing tied for 21st

Greeneville, Tenn. - Led by Parker Lewis’ 21st place finish, the Tornados opened the 2010 spring season by finishing the Tusculum Men’s Golf Invitational in 13th with a two day score of 609.

Lewis led the Tornados with a two day total of 145, improving on his first round 73 by shooting 72, one over on day two.

Joshua Davis and Thomas Bush finished in the top 60 in the event. Davis carded a two-day 152 to finish in a tie for 52nd, while Bush improved on a first day 80, by shooting a 74 in the second round to record a 154, putting him in a tie for 58th.

Thomas Rennie also improved on his first day’s score, recording a second day 76 to finish with a 158, good enough for a tie for 78th, while Mike Jones rounded out the group with a two day score of 170, placing him in 93rd.

The Tornados are back on the links on Sunday, March 14th in Brevard.
