Lewis' podium finish leads Tornados to fourth in tournament
Brevard places six in the top 50

Brevard, N.C. - Led by Parker Lewis’ podium finish, the Tornados men’s golf team took fourth overall at the Montreat College Spring Invitational held on March 15th and 16th at Glen Cannon Country Club.
The Tornados finished as a team with a two-day stroke total of 621, 45-over par for the event, finishing six strokes behind third-place finisher USC Lancaster.
Lewis led the Tornados with a two-day stroke total of 149, 5-over. Lewis carded a first round 79, then made one of the biggest improvements of the tournament, recording a round of 70, 2-under par to finish in a tie for fourth.
Joshua Davis tied for 12th in the event, carding a two-day total of 155, 11-over for the event, while Thomas Rennie finished tied for 22nd, finishing with 157, 13-over for the tournament.
Michael Stamper, Mike Jones and Thomas Bush all finished inside the top 50 in the event, while Zack Christy finished 55th overall.
