BC's Klochkova Wins Glen Cannon Fall Invitational
Pisgah Forest, N.C. - The Brevard College women's golf team wrapped up their first ever intercollegiate tournament on Monday afternoon, as the Tornados finished third overall at the Glen Cannon Fall Invitational tournament hosted by Montreat College and Brevard College at the Glenn Cannon Golf Course in Pisgah Forest, N.C.
The Tornados finished with a two day combined team score of 870, finishing behind first-place Mars Hill College (719) and second-place Montreat (791).
BC's Alisiya Klochkova won the event, shooting rounds of 85 and 89 for a combined low score of 174 for the tournament.
Rounding out the top-five was four Mars Hill players, as Samantha Delgado (178), Carrie Huskins (179), Samantha Patton (180) and Chelsey Boud (186) all made the all tournament team.
BC juniors Erin Craig, Jennifer Brown and Katie Brown are improved all the scores in day two, as Craig finished the two day event with a combined score of 213, while Jennifer Brown and Katie Brown carded scores of 232 and 251, respectively.
Freshman Erika Kellems rounded out the scoring for the Tornados, as Kellems carded a score of 312 for the tournament.
The Tornados will next be in action on September 29-30 when they will compete in the Tusculum College Fall Classic in Greeneville, Tennessee.
