Schedule changes on the horizon for Friday
Baseball and Tennis move games up to 2 p.m.
Brevard, N.C. - Due to concerns about the incoming storm front this weekend, the Tornados baseball and tennis teams have moved their start times from 3 p.m., up to 2 p.m.
The Tornados baseball team will begin their weekend series with the Lincoln Memorial Railsplitters tomorrow afternoon at Gil Coan Field, with first pitch in the nine-inning contest coming at 2 p.m. Friday is also "Quilt the Hill" for the BC baseball team, as they encourage all fans, supporters and family to come out and cover the hill beside the 3rd base dugout and watch the game.
The BC men’s and women’s tennis teams will also be in action tomorrow afternoon as they celebrate Senior Day at the McCoy Tennis Complex. Coach Nicole Bumgarner will recognize seniors Lindsay Shaeffer, Cole Altizer, Shane Apps and Scott McCormick in a pre-match ceremony at 1:45. Doubles competition will begin after the ceremony at 2 p.m.
