Bundy, Pritchard and Freeman record shots in loss to Lions

Box Score

Brevard, N.C. - An early goal by Leah Taylor put the Tornados behind early, but BC battled throughout the game as Jamie Bundy, Lindsay Pritchard and Chelsea Freeman all challenged the Mars Hill keeper, but Chelsea Parker was able to keep the shutout alive as Brevard fell at home on Saturday afternoon, 1-0.

Taylor took the pass from Alyssa Morris and put the ball home at the 5:13 mark for Mars Hill (6-4-1, 2-2 SAC) as the Lions went up early.

The Tornados (2-8, 0-5 SAC) fought back as BC goalkeeper Crissy Moran had a game high six saves and Jamie Bundy added two shots on goal, but Brevard was unable to get on the scoreboard in falling in their first action in the month of October.

Brevard returns to the road as they travel to Belmont, N.C. for a non-conference game against Belmont Abbey. Kickoff between the Tornados and the Crusaders is set for 4:30 p.m.
