BC Falls to Bluefield

Bluefield, Va.-  The Tornados fell to the Bluefield College Rams 5-0 in nonconference road action on Saturday night.

The Tornados put 10 of their 14 shots on goal, but Bluefield keeper Kayla Richardson was perfect in recording 10 saves.

Enajah Winbush got the Rams out to a 1-0 advantage with an unassisted goal at 7:38. Junior Pip Pattison contributed two goals in the first half, both on Callan Caman corner kicks. The Rams took the 3-0 into halftime. 

Jessica Dutka found the back of the net at 59:40 with the assist coming from Winbush, and Camin made it 5-0 with an unassisted goal at 78:48.  

Brittany Webster added five saves to make her season total 48. Webster has a save percentage of .800 and is averaging 2.10 goals allowed per match this season.

The BC women open South Atlantic Conference play on Wednesday, September 19th on the road against the Anderson University Trojans.
