Watts Named BSN Punter of the Week

Brevard, N.C.- Brevard College punter Eric Watts has been named Special Teams Punter of the Week by Beyond Sports Network for his performance against Mars Hill on Saturday.
Watts punted the ball eight times for 357 yards with a long of 53 yards, pinning the Lions inside their own 20-yard line five times.
Watts, the 2012 Preseason SAC First Team Punter, leads the South Atlantic Conference with an average of 44.6 yards per punt attempt. His 44.6 yards per attempt puts him seventh in all of NCAA Division II football.
