LMU Too Much For BC

Brevard, N.C- The Brevard College women's soccer team came up short 4-0 on the road at Lincoln Memorial on Saturday afternoon.

Savannah Pitt put LMU on the board early at the 6:11 mark. Pitt scored on a pass into the box from Rachael Vienneau an early 1-0 advantage. BC would keep LMU off the board for the rest of the half, entering the break trailing 1-0.

Sam Adams made it 2-0 Railsplitters with an unassisted goal at 54:19, sending a direct kick just over the elevated reach of BC keeper Brittany Webster from about 40 yards out.

Kristen Cook scored for LMU at 59:18 mark, dribbling the ball to just outside the box before shooting.  Josefin Hedstrom made it 4-0 in the 79th minute on a direct kick from the corner.

The Tornados put two of their five shots on goal in the contest, but weren’t able to get on the board.

The Tornados are back in action on Tuesday, October 16th as they host the North Greenville Crusaders at 4 p.m.
