Bradley Morrison Named Men's Soccer Assistant
Brevard, N.C.- Brevard College Athletic Director and Head Men's Soccer Coach Juan Mascaro is pleased to announce the addition of Bradley Morrison to the men's soccer staff as Assistant Coach.
Morrison joins the Brevard College men’s soccer program following a year-long stint working as an ODP Assistant Coach with the North Carolina Youth Soccer Association.
While with the NCYSA, where he worked with the “00 Boys West Division teams, Morrison taught science at Burns Middle School in Lawndale, N.C.
Morrison has also held the position of Director of Coaching with the Greater Cleveland County Soccer Association since January 2012. With the GCCSA, Morrison created and implemented a “Soccer in Schools” program and worked closely with the Board of Directors on budgeting, scheduling and fundraising.
Prior to his work with the GCCSA, Morrison served as the Men’s Soccer Graduate Assistant at his alma mater, Gardner-Webb University, for three seasons. There he assisted with training and match preparation, recruiting, and post-match video editing.
Morrison enjoyed a four-year career on the men’s soccer team at Gardner-Webb, helping the Runnin’ Bulldogs to an Atlantic Sun Conference Championship in 2006. He was named to the Big South All-Conference and All-Tournament teams in 2008 after Gardner-Webb joined the conference in 2008.
Morrison holds a bachelor’s degree in Biology and a minor in Chemistry from Gardner-Webb and completed a master’s degree in Sports Science and Pedagogy from Gardner-Webb in 2011. He also holds a National “C” License and a National Youth License from U.S. Soccer.
