The Bulldogs were led by KJ Weaver and Tianna Knuckles who had 19 and 14 points, respectively, while Weaver grabbed 11 rebounds and Knuckles had nine.

Brevard then went to score four straight points by Wolfe and Lenox. After taking a 17-12 lead, however, UNC Asheville outscored 23-10 for a 35-27 halftime lead.
The Tornados were never able to regain the lead as the Bulldogs scored seven of the first 11 points of the second half and Brevard was only able to close the deficit to nine points 4:59 into the half as UNC Asheville held a 44-35 lead at that point. The hosts then went to outscore the visitors 32-21 for the rest of the game.
