Men's Lacrosse name captains for 2015 season

BREVARD, N.C. – Brevard College men’s head lacrosse coach, Kevin Anderson, is pleased to announce his captains for the 2015 season. Senior goalie, Andy Reilly and sophomores Nick Bier and Matt Dropuljic have been selected to lead the 2015 squad.

“These three young men have been exemplary student athletes and have done so much for the program, both on and off the field,” said Anderson. “They have earned the respect from their teammates and their leadership skills are evident. Our program is fortunate to have these exceptional student athletes.”

Reilly, who served as a captain for the inaugural season in 2014, started in 10 of the 13 games last year in goal stopping 206 shots. His veteran leadership will benefit the second year program.

Dropuljic is also serving as a captain for the second time. He led the team last year in goals (23) and was third in point (24). Bier will be leading the midfield and is a first-time captain.

The Tornados begin their season on February 10 in Rome, Georgia against Shorter. Their home-opener is set for February 14 against Emmanuel.
