Tornados picked 12th in Men's Tennis preseason poll.

ROCK HILL, S.C. – The Brevard College men’s tennis team was picked to finish 12th in the 2015 season in the South Atlantic Conference (SAC) preseason poll, released today by the league.

Brevard is looking to improve last year’s record with the return of six players from the squad under first-year head coach Ed Dickson. The Tornados received 24 points, 21 less than Carson-Newman and Lenoir-Rhyne, who tied for the tenth spot.

Tusculum was chosen to win the conference this year with six first-place votes and finished with 127 points. Wingate also notched six first-place votes and finished just four points behind the Pioneers for second.

Anderson and Queens rounded out the top four with 103 and 99 points, respectively, while Newberry and Lincoln Memorial both finished with 85 points and in the fifth spot. Coker, Mars Hill and Catawba finished seven through nine.

Brevard begins its season on February 11th at home against Young Harris. The Tornados will also host the SAC Championships from April 16-18.
