Tornados picked to finish 12th in conference preseason pollJanuary 21, 2016
Rock Hill, S.C. – The South Atlantic Conference announced the 2016 women’s tennis preseason poll on Thursday morning, with the conference coaches predicting a 12th place finish for the Tornados this season.
Wingate was voted the favorites to win the conference after winning the SAC tournament last season. The Bulldogs received the most points from the conference coaches with 131, while also gaining nine first place votes. Queens and Tusculum rounded out the top three with 128 and 117 points respectively and both received first place nods.
Last season, Brevard went 1-16 overall and 0-11 in the conference.
