WGO carves career rounds to open Tusculum Fall ClassicSeptember 26, 2016

GREENEVILLE, TENN. - The Brevard College Women’s Golf team recorded a career best afternoon in the opening round of the Tusculum Fall Classic, hosted by Tusculum College at the Link Hills Country Club.
Sophomore, Courtney Sharp (Jacksboro, Tenn.), recorded the Tornados best score of the afternoon and BC's lowest round of the year as the Jacksboro, Tenn. native posted a 78, six-over par to finish tied for 13th-place overall.
Kelsie Rhyne (Taylorsville, N.C.) currently ranks 29 overall, after posting a career best score of 81, nine-over pay. While sophomore Taylor Scovel (Charlotte, N.C.) was the third member of the Tornados to also record an afternoon best round, carving Link Hills Country Club for an opening round 86.
Tusculum’s Katie Tomassoni, posted the opening day low, coming in at one-under par, with a score of 71. Lenoir-Rhyne currently leads the team standings with an overall score of 302 on day one of the tournament.
The Tornados will look to build off Monday's successful round, as they head into the final round of the Tusculum Fall Classic tomorrow.
