Brevard falls to ConverseOctober 11, 2016
SPARTANBURG, S.C. – Tuesday night’s mid-week game did not go in the Tornados’ favor, as Brevard (5-9-1, 0-7 SAC) lost to Converse College (7-5-1) 3-0 in a non-conference game.
The Valkyries got things going in the first eight minutes of the game as Claudia Coffin threw the ball in to connect with Nicole Doolittle who sent the ball to the far post for the first goal of the game. Shortly into the second half, Mariah Elliot would earn her second assist of the game, as she passed the ball off to Nicole Doolittle who would break away from the defense to score the third goal of the game.
