Hickory, N.C. - The Brevard College track & field team competed Saturday at the Lenoir-Rhyne PowerSox Invitational. The meet is the third of the season for the Tornados and coach James Galloway.
The Tornados had their most success in the men's 1500 meter run. Damon Martin finished 9th out of 17 runners in a time of 4:31.51, while Tiffen Tapia checked in at 16th in 4:51.52.
In the men's 100 meter dash, Brevard's Justin Fleming placed 9th out of 17 with a sprint of 11.12.
The final even Brevard competed in was the women's 800 meter run, where Kristen Zerressen was 16th in a time of 3:21.42.

Brevard's next meet is April 17, when they compete at Western Carolina.
