Men's Tennis adds another for 2009-2010

Kuhn will take to the courts for the Tornados in 2009-2010

Brevard, N.C. - The Brevard College Athletic Department and Coach Paul Thomson are pleased to announce the commitment of Jonathan Alexander Kuhn to come to Brevard College and play on the men's tennis team starting with the 2009-2010 season.

Kuhn, a resident of Guatemala, has lived in San Antonio, Texas for the past two years, graduating from the John Newcomb Tennis Academy. The 6-4 right-handed player achieved a 832 ITF ranking during his time in Texas.

"Jonathan is going to be a tremendous addition to our program," Coach Thomson had to say. "He is a big strong player that is very athletic. Jonathan is also a very outstanding young man."

Kuhm will major in business and join a team that went 15-4, 5-3 in their inaugural season as members of NCAA Division II and the South Atlantic Conference, and was the first Brevard College team to host a SAC tournament event, hosting a quarterfinal round against Tusculum College.
