Women's Golf finishes 11th in Tusculum Fall InvitationalSeptember 30, 2009
Greeneville, Tenn. - The Tornados women’s golf team continued their solid play in the fall 2009 season, finishing 11th in the Tusculum Fall Classic. Brevard, led by Alisiya Klochkova, recorded rounds of 367 and 365 for a two-day score of 732.
Klochkova carded an 86 for the first round, then improved it by two strokes with an 84 on day two for a total of 170 to finish in a tie for 34th.
Lucy McNulty also improved on her first round total of 88 with an 85 in the second round to finish three strokes back in a tie for 45th with a 173.
Jennifer Brown recorded a two-day score to finish in 53rd with a 187, and Macy Kottyan and Taylor Norton rounded out the group with scores of 202 and 276.
The Tornados are back in action on Friday, October 2nd, as they host Benedict University to a one-day match played at Connestee Country Club in Brevard, N.C., starting at 1 p.m.
