Tornados conclude fall season at LMU InvitationalOctober 20, 2009
Brevard finishes 11th in the two day event
Tazewell, Tenn. - The Tornados men’s golf team concluded their fall season this afternoon at the Lincoln Memorial Fall Invitational played at the Woodlake Golf Club. Brevard concluded the two-day event, finishing 11th with a score of 620.
The Tornados were led by Joshua Davis who improved his first day 74 by one stroke to record a two-day total of 147, finishing in a tie for 18th in the event.
Parker Lewis recorded a team-best 73 in the first round on his way to a 148 in the tournament to finish in a tie for 21st, while Thomas Rennie carded scores of 77 and 78 for a two day total of 155 to sit in a tie for 40th.
Thomas Bush and Mike Jones also teed up for Coach Bayne, recording identical 171s over the tournament to tie for 70th.
The Tornados men’s golf team finished up their fall season and will look forward to the spring where they will look to repeat their top five finish in the 2010 Food Lion South Atlantic Conference tournament.
