Asheville, N.C. - Former Brevard College baseball standout Jordan Hotchkiss has been tearing up the mound for the Cincinnati Reds’ High-A affiliate in Lynchburg, Va. as reported by Asheville Citizen-Times’ Tyler Goode.
Hotchkiss has allowed one earned run in nine appearances, accumulating a 0.63 earned run average through 14 1/3 innings. His earned run average is the lowest on the team among pitchers with more than one appearance, and it is also lower than the eight professional pitchers with ties to Western North Carolina.
