Brevard, N.C. - The Brevard College Student-Athlete Advisory Committee teamed up with the Make-A-Wish Foundation this past year to help bring hope, strength and joy to children with life-threatening medical conditions.
"The Make-A-Wish Foundation is a great organization and we are very privileged to have worked with them on a year to year basis," commented Brevard College Senior Women’s Administrator, Britne Stubbs. "With the dedication and determination of our SAAC members this year, I know we will continue to impact lives throughout the nation."
The BC SAAC raised $587.01 for the Make-A-Wish Foundation during the 2009-2010 athletic year and will team up again with Make-A-Wish in the 2010-2011 year.
Since 1980, the Make-A-Wish Foundation® has enriched the lives of children with life-threatening medical conditions through its wish-granting work. The Foundation's mission reflects the life-changing impact that a Make-A-Wish® experience has on children, families, referral sources, donors, sponsors, and entire communities.
