Myrtle Beach, S.C. - The Brevard College women’s golf team competed at the Myrtle Beach Intercollegiate tournament, hosted by Lenoir-Rhyne University. The Tornados finished 16th overall in the tournament, featuring teams from all over the Southeast Region.
Alisiya Klochkova led the Tornados, finishing in a tie for 33rd overall. Klochkova opened the two-day event with an 87 on day one, before improving her first round score by five strokes for an 82 to finish with a two round score of 169.
Carley Stenger finished in a tie for 67th overall in the tournament, shooting a 91 in the first round, before carding a 93 on the second day, for a two day score of 184.
Erika Kellems and Ashley Allen rounded out the Tornados in the tournament, finishing with scores of 237 and 247 respectively.
Brevard heads next to nearby Glen Cannon Country Club to participate in the Montreat Invitational, starting on Monday, October 11th.
