Brevard pushed a run across in the top of the 6th to make it 8-1, scoring on an RBI groundout by Christian Christopoulos.
Bennett Hixson drilled a three-run homer in the top of the 7th to make it 8-4 after Matt Proffitt reached on an error and Chad Fisher singled.
Reliever Heath Blackmon started the 7th for BC, but surrendered three earned runs after recording two outs to give the Flying Fleet an 11-4 lead.
The Tornados struggled against Erskine starter Dustin Sherbert (W, 2-0), who held the Tornados to a run on two hits and three walks over five innings.
