Salisbury, N.C.- Claire Dillman and Michelle Prata paired to take the number one doubles match before winning their singles matches in BC’s 6-3 loss to the Catawba College Indians at the Johnson Tennis Center on Saturday afternoon.
Dillman and Prata defeated Liz Renteria and Sloan Kessler 8-3 on the number one doubles court to open the action before Dillman dropped Renteria 6-1, 6-0 on the first singles court. Prata, meanwhile, downed Kessler 6-3, 6-1 on the number two singles court.
As a pair, Prata and Dillman improved to 8-6 overall and 4-2 in South Atlantic doubles play this season. Dillman improved to 5-1 in SAC singles play in 2013, while Prata moved to 4-2 in conference singles this season.
The BC women return to the court when they visit the Pioneers of Tusculum College for a match at the Nichols Tennis Complex on Tuesday at 3 p.m.
