2014 marks the first season for lacrosse at BC

BREVARD, N.C. – Brevard College Men’s Lacrosse head coach Kevin Anderson is pleased to announce the 2014 and first-ever Brevard College Men’s Lacrosse schedule.

Brevard has 15 games scheduled in its inaugural season, comprised of nine home matches and six away. Four of the home events will feature South Atlantic Conference competition.

The Tornados will trek to Franklin Springs, Ga. to battle Emmanuel in their season-opener on Feb. 1. BC will play the next three matches at home against Lees-McRae (Feb. 9), Mercy (Feb. 15) and Shorter (Feb. 22). Brevard closes out the month of February on the road against Young Harris on Feb. 26.

BC opens SAC play against Catawba in Salisbury, N.C. March 1 before travelling to Belmont Abbey March 5.

Brevard will enjoy home-field advantage for another three-game stint when it welcomes conference foe Tusculum on March 8. Baldwin Wallace visits March 12 and BC wraps up the homestand with a match against Wingate March 15.

The Tornados continue conference play with a short trip to Mars Hill March 19 before stepping out of conference to play Florida Tech at home March 23.

BC makes its final trip when it ventures to Hartsville, S.C. to face Coker March 29 before wrapping up the regular season with home matches against Lenoir Rhyne (April 5) and Queens (April 12).

The SAC Men’s Lacrosse Championship will take place in Charlotte, N.C. from April 17-19.
