Brevard, N.C. – The Brevard College men’s basketball team goes big time on Saturday, November 29, at 2:30 p.m. as the Tornados will play in Time Warner Cable Arena, the home of the NBA’s Charlotte Bobcats, in Charlotte, N.C. The Tornados will take on Belmont Abbey in this very unusual neutral site. It is the first time the Tornados have ever played in an NBA Arena and will look to cap off the historical event with a win.
Saturday afternoon will be a battle of two unbeatens, as both the Tornados and Belmont Abbey will ride into Charlotte, N.C. with 3-0 records. The Tornados have defeated Warren Wilson (70-42), Lees-McRae (72-63) and Erskine (59-55). Belmont Abbey has defeated two SAC schools already this season, beating Mars Hill (105-95), Wingate (70-67). The Crusaders defeated Anderson 73-69 on Tuesday night.
The tip-off for the battle of the two unbeatens is slated for 2:30 p.m.
