BREVARD, N.C.-Brevard College head football coach Paul Hamilton is pleased to release the 2014 BC football schedule.

Brevard College will play 11 games in the 2014 season, highlighted by bouts with Division I FCS opponents Western Carolina and Liberty University to open the season.

Brevard’s 2014 season gets underway at E.J. Whitmire Stadium in Cullowhee, N.C., on September 6th as the Tornados take on Western Carolina for the first time since 1945.

The following week the Tornados will travel to Lynchburg, Va., for BC’s second meeting in an as many seasons with the Liberty Flames.

BC opens South Atlantic Conference play a week later against Carson-Newman College as the Tornados host the Eagles on September 20th. Kickoff from Brevard Memorial Stadium is set for 1 p.m.

After a nonconference game at North Greenville on September 27th, the Tornados host the Lenoir-Rhyne Bears for their 2014 Homecoming at Brevard Memorial Stadium on October 4th. Kickoff is set for 6 p.m.

The Mars Hill Lions welcome the Tornados to Meares Stadium on October 11th before BC hosts Wingate on October 18th at Brevard Memorial Stadium at 6 p.m.

BC will visit Catawba College on October 25th for a 1:30 p.m. kickoff from Shuford Stadium before opening the month of November with a home game against the Wolves of Newberry College on November 1st.

The Tornados make their final road trip of the season as they visit the Pioneers of Tusculum College on Thursday, November 6th. Kickoff from Pioneer Field is scheduled for 7 p.m.

The Tornados will wrap their 2014 campaign with a nonconference tilt against College of Faith at Brevard Memorial Stadium on November 15th.
