Kansas City, Kan. – The Brevard College women’s soccer team was recognized for their hard work and dedication off the field and in the classroom earlier this week, as the Tornados were named as a National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) Team Academic Award winner.
The Tornados were one of 265 women’s soccer teams across the nation that posted a team grade point average of 3.0 or higher, thereby earning the NSCAA Team Academic Award for the 2007-08 academic year.
The women’s soccer team posted a team grade point average of 3.39 over the 2007-08 academic year.
Brevard College was one of only 65 schools nationwide that had both their men’s and women’s soccer teams both earn the NSCAA Team Academic Award.
