Brevard, N.C. – The Brevard College baseball team wrapped up their 2009 season Tuesday at Gil Coan Field, losing 7-4 and 8-1 to the Milligan College Buffaloes. The Tornados finish the season 10-32 (2-19 SAC).
Game One – Milligan 7, Brevard 4 (7 inn.)

After falling behind 6-0, Brevard answered in the 1st with an RBI single from Matthew Pruitt (Hendersonville, N.C.). Milligan scored an extra run in the 2nd when Justin Motte (Johnson City, Tenn.) scored on a wild pitch, making the score 7-1.

Game Two – Milligan 8, Brevard 1 (7 inn.)
The Tornados took a 1-0 lead on a run-scoring single from Jackie Corn (Hendersonville, N.C.) in the 1st inning but would not score again.
The Buffaloes hit two solo home runs in the 2nd, as Dallas Crouch (Jefferson City, Tenn.) and Randy Rabon (Rock Hill, S.C.) went deep to give the road team a 2-1 lead.
Thanks in large part to three Tornado errors, Milligan scored five times in the 5th inning. The big blast was a three-run homer from Ricky Morgan (Johnson City, Tenn.). The Buffaloes added a run in the sixth on an RBI single from Morgan.
