Coker improved to 5-0 while the Tornados become 0-4 on a young season.
The lone goal of the game came off of a Coker corner kick by Alan Cuevas. Cuevas hooked the kick from the right side of the net and was able to get it behind goalkeeper Jack Shaw after Tornado defender, Ian Townson, got a head on it.
Brevard kept Coker scoreless in the second period while controlling the ball for the majority of the time, but were not able to get one of their shots near the goal.
Shaw saved three of the four shots on goal that the Tornados allowed. His counterpart, James Sweeney, faced just one shot on goal from the Tornados and saved it.
The Tornados return to the field on Tuesday when Erskine visits Brevard for a 4 p.m. match.
