Tigerville, S.C. - The Tornados traveled to Tigerville, S.C. for their first road game of the year only to be shut out 1-0 by North Greenville University as they fell for the second time this season.
The Crusaders improved to 4-1 as the Tornados fell to 4-2.
Brevard controlled the first period out-shooting North Greenville 8-3, but were unable to make any of them count. Allie Hovis led the Tornados with four shots, three of them being on goal.
Sydney Douglas saved four of five shots on goal with the only North Greenville goal coming in the 50th minute when Kaeleigh Meara connected with Leah Ward.
Brevard is back in action when they travel to Lenoir-Rhyne on Wednesday, September 16, for their first conference match of the season.
