Charlotte, N.C. - The Tornados stayed within one goal the majority of the game, but were unable to hold on as they ultimately fell 3-0 to the Royals of Queens.
With the win Queens improve to 4-4-1 while Brevard falls to 1-11.
The Royals struck just two minutes into the game on a Jeremy Chambers goal. Queens would control a 1-0 lead for the rest of the first half and most of the second half until 76:54 when Tyler Miller struck for the Royals.
Ian Townson threaten to score twice for the Tornados in the second half with a shot that went wide and a header that also landed wide of the post.
The Royals landed their final goal at 83:13 when Jonathan Grajeda brought the ball up the field and beat Jack Shaw to knock one in.
With two minutes left in the game Chris Lanvik-Larsen took a shot on goal forcing Chris Raines to record his only save of the game.
The Tornados return to action on Saturday when they travel to Wingate a 4 p.m. South Atlantic Conference game.
