Neko Mulally   |   Volunteer Assistant Coach

Head cycling coach Brad Perley announced the addition of Neko Mulally as a volunteer assistant coach in August 2014.

Mulally hails from Pennsylvania but currently resides and trains in Hendersonville. He is considered one of the top downhill mountain bike racers in the world and races professionally for Trek World Racing. He competes in the Downhill Mountain Bike World Cup Series in locations all over the world.

“I couldn’t be more excited to welcome Neko to the Brevard College family,” Perley stated. “He already has a well-deserved fantastic reputation for both his riding ability and personality. He actively competes at the top level of our sport, and adding him to our coaching staff will further distinguish our program as a top-tier collegiate cycling experience.”

After spending time in the area, Mulally feels that this area is one of the best locations in the world to train for mountain biking and is energized by the supportive cycling community in Brevard.

“I’m really looking forward to sharing what I’ve learned through my own racing experience with the cycling team at Brevard,” said Mulally. “I hope I will be able to help the team as a whole, and I’m looking forward to some big results this year. Everyone involved in the cycling program is passionate about what they do. I believe in this team, and I can’t wait to help it succeed.”
