Rich Wall | Assistant Coach

Rich Wall joined the Brevard soccer staff in August 2014.
Wall most recently served as the Training Programs Coach for the Long Island Region within New York Red Bull Academy in Harrison, New Jersey. He trained a number of teams and youth players between the ages of 4 and 18. On match days he contributed to the Major League Soccer team by performing various matchday operational roles.
Wall has had several coaching roles in North Carolina since 2012. He was a youth academy coach with the Greater Cleveland County Soccer Association under Brevard's head coach Bradley Morrison. He also spent over a year as the Associate Director of Coaching at Waxhaw Soccer Club and is an assistant coach within the North Carolina Olympic Development Program.
Wall also has considerable collegiate experience. He spent over a year on the staff at Belmont Abbey College as an assistant coach and served as the head coach of the Crusaders’ reserve team. He was also the Director of Soccer Operations for his alma mater of Gardner-Webb University for a full year. He has worked camps at both of these institutions as well as UNC Charlotte and Lipscomb.
Wall currently holds coaching qualifications through both the National Soccer Coaches Association of America and the United States Soccer Federation. His coaching experience follows a playing career that saw him appear in 70 matches with 38 starts between Wingate and Gardner-Webb. He graduated from Gardner-Webb in 2012 with a degree in Sport Management.
