Terrence Baxter is in his second season on the Brevard Women's Basketball staff, having joined the team in the 2008-09 season. Baxter will serve as the primary assistant to head coach Shannon Reid, assisting in all phases of the Brevard women's program.
Baxter played basketball at Pfeiffer from 1996-2001, and captained the Falcons from 1998 until the end of his career. While at Pfeiffer, Baxter was twice named to the All-CVAC team and was an All-America selection in 1999 and 2000. He was named Team MVP after the 1999-2000 season, finished his career as a member of Pfeiffer's 1000-point club, and led the Falcons to two CVAC regular season championships.
Baxter returned to Pfeiffer in 2006 as an assistant with the men's basketball team. Baxter specialized in coordinating the offensive and rebounding aspects of the Falcon program. He also served as head coach of Pfeiffer's junior varsity program, where he mentored players during study hall sessions, supervised the team's strength and conditioning program, and worked in the school's basketball camps.
Baxter has an 11-year old son named Jairez.
