Angus W. Graham III, M.D.
Position: Team Physician
Dr. Angus Graham was born in Miami, Florida and is the oldest of five children. Both his father as a physician and mother as a nurse influenced his decision to enter the medical profession. The Graham family moved to Brevard in 1993 after Dr. Graham finished his surgical training in Gainesville, Florida. He is a graduate of Tennessee's University of the South, after which he obtained his M.D. from the University of South Florida. He completed his residency in Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of Florida. He is board certified and a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. While at the University of Florida he spent time with the team physicians for the Florida Gators, Miami Dolphins and Florida Marlins. Dr. Graham also trained under Dr. William Petty, developer of the Exakteck artificial hip joint. His training also included helping with the development of the Orion plate. He has authored several articles and has made presentations to his professional colleagues at several internationally attended conferences where he was a faculty member and instructor. Dr. Graham enjoys spending most of his free time with his wife, four sons and newly adopted daughter. He and his family attend Grace Community Church. After work he enjoys running, mountain biking, coaching his son's sport teams and if he has enough time, exploring rivers by canoe or kayak and surfing. He considers it a privilege to be a physician and surgeon for his patients and he takes that responsibility seriously by staying current on the latest surgical techniques and treatment methods.
His areas of interest include sports injuries, arthroscopic surgery of the knee and shoulder, joint replacement surgery,and fracture care.
