Previous School: Jalanne comes to Brevard from Littoinen, Finland and Hartwick College, where he played under Coach John Scott and Coach Bo Brinsko.

Off the field, he was a two-time member of the Dean's List (Fall 2010, Spring 2011). He is the son of Erkki and Teija Jalanne.
