Tornados drop first South Conference series to Railsplitters

BREVARD, N.C.- The Brevard College Tornados (5-10, 1-2 SAC) dropped their first South Atlantic Conference series of the Season to the Lincoln Memorial Railsplitters (7-9, 2-1 SAC) on Saturday at Gil Coan Field. The Railsplitters rallied in the first contest to win 4-1 in nine innings and took the finale and seven inning matchup 17-4.

Offensive outburst leads Tornados to 14-11 victory in SAC opener

BREVARD, N.C.- An eight run sixth inning for the Brevard College Tornados (5-9, 1-0 SAC) mounted a comeback victory as they opened up South Atlantic Conference play with a 14-11 win against the Lincoln Memorial Railsplitters (5-9, 0-1 SAC). Drake Black (Williamston, S.C.) shut the door on the Railsplitters in the top of the ninth, capping off a three inning outing with the Tornados’ fifth win of the season.

Tornados split doubleheader with Pacers

CARY, N.C.- The Brevard College Tornados (4-8) split the Sunday doubleheader with the William Peace Pacers (4-5) at the USA Baseball complex in Cary, N.C. The Tornados took game one of the Sunday matinee with a 4-0 shutout of the Pacers before dropping the series finale 11-4.

Tornados drop series opener to Pacers

CARY, N.C.- In a meeting between future USA South opponents, the Brevard College Tornados (3-7) dropped game one of a three game series to the William Peace Pacers 5-1 in Cary, N.C. on Saturday.

Tornados erupt for 13 runs on 20 hits in midweek victory

BREVARD, N.C.- A 13 run, 20-hit day for the Tornados offense helped Brevard College (3-6) defeat the Young Harris Mountain Lions (2-5) 13-2 on Tuesday afternoon in a nonconference matchup at Gil Coan Field. The Brevard offense was led by four different Tornados who tallied three hits apiece.
