Tornados Drop 3-2 Double Overtime Thriller to Catawba in SAC Play

CATAWBA, N.C. – The Brevard College women’s soccer team dropped a heart-breaking loss to Catawba College, 3-2, in double-overtime on Saturday night in South Atlantic Conference action at the Frock Athletic Complex. The Tornados fall to 3-10 and 1-7 in the SAC while the Indians improve to 10-4 and 5-3 in conference play.

Women's Soccer Falls to Regionally-Ranked Wingate in SAC Action

BREVARD, N.C. – The Brevard College women’s soccer dropped its third straight contest to a regionally-ranked opponent as it fell to Wingate University, 6-0, on Saturday afternoon at Brevard Soccer Field in South Atlantic Conference (SAC) action. With the loss, the Tornados fall to 3-9 overall and 1-6 in the SAC. The Bulldogs, who were ranked third in the latest National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) Southeast poll, improve to 7-2-2 and 6-1.

GREENEVILLE, Tenn. – The Brevard College women’s soccer dropped its second straight game to a regionally-ranked opponent, losing to Tusculum College, 4-0, on Wednesday evening in South Atlantic Conference (SAC) action at Pioneers Field. The Tornados fall to 3-8 overall and 1-5 in the SAC while the Pioneers, who are ranked 10th in the most recent National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) Southeast poll, improve to 8-3-1 and 4-1.

With the loss, the Tornados fall to 3-7 overall and 1-4 in SAC play while the Railsplitters, who were ranked sixth in the latest National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) Southeast Region poll, improve to 6-2 and 4-1.
