2018 Men's Soccer Schedule
BREVARD, N.C. – Brevard men's soccer head coach Bob Winch released the team's 2018 schedule on Monday, which includes nine home games at Ives-Lemel Field.
The Tornados begin the regular season on Sept. 1 with a trip to West Point, Ga., to take on Point University. Four days later, Brevard hosts rival Montreat at 7 p.m. for the home opener.
After a trip to Berea on Sept. 8, which marks the first USA South Conference match of the season, the Tornados host Piedmont on Sept. 11 at 6 p.m. Brevard then travels to Covenant (Sept. 15) and Guilford (Sept. 19) for a series of road matches.
The opening month of season closes with a series of home matches against Methodist (Sept. 22) and William Peace (Sept. 29), both of which begin at 11 a.m.
Brevard opens October with a trio of league matches on the road at Maryville (Oct. 2), Averett (Oct. 6) and Pfeiffer (Oct. 7). The Tornados return to the pitch at Ives-Lemel field to host N.C. Wesleyan (Oct. 13) and Greensboro (Oct. 14) for the first back-to-back matches at home of the season.
The final road trip of the season follows on Oct. 17 with a trip to Montgomery, Ala., for a clash with Huntingdon. Brevard then closes out the season with its longest home stand of the slate against LaGrange (Oct. 20), Bob Jones (Oct. 22) and John Wesley (Oct. 27).
