Bryan Lewis enters his first season as Volunteer Assistant Coach for Brevard College Men’s Soccer.  A native of Charlotte, North Carolina and a graduate of Wingate University, he played collegiately for the Bulldogs as a starting striker. 

After graduation, Lewis served as an Assistant Coach for the Wingate University Women’s Soccer team, while also providing private instruction for club level youth players in the Charlotte area.

Lewis later transferred his soccer talents to the football field, playing several seasons as a kicker in the Arena Football League.  In 2000, Lewis competed in the preseason camp for the NFL’s Carolina Panthers.

Following his playing days, Lewis served as an Assistant Special Teams Coach for Wingate University’s Football team.

“Bryan will be a great help to Junior (Associate Head Coach Juan Mascaro Jr.) and myself as he is a very knowledgeable and passionate coach,” said Head Coach Helio D’Anna.  “He will help us in all areas and will be specifically valuable in the conditioning of our players.”
