Harrogate, Tenn. - Kim Koivu leads the Tornados in a deep field as Brevard sits tied for ninth overall in the 16-team LMU Fall Invitational after shooting a combined 306 after the first round.

Koivu is tied for sixth overall, finishing 1-under for a first round 71 to pace the Tornados, while T.J. Hoard is tied for 19th overall, finishing with a 74, 2-over after the first day.

Michael Stamper and Thomas Rennie are also in contention after the first round, carding an 80 and 81 respectively for Coach David Nelson, while Xiaoran Li finished his first collegiate round of the season with a 93.

The Tornados are back on the course tomorrow morning for the final round of the LMU Fall Invitational.
