Charlotte, N.C. - Alisiya Klochkova, Ashley Allen and Rebecca Schoonover completed the first round of the Dana Rader Intercollegiate Golf Tournament, hosted by Pfeiffer College this weekend, competing as individuals among the 67-athlete field.

Klochkova led the Tornados, carding a 92 in the first round with scores of 47 on the front nine, while improving two strokes on the back nine to sit in a tie for 32nd overall.

Allen also improved on the back nine, recording a seven-stroke improvement over the final holes to finish with a score of 143, while Schoonover rounded out the group in her first collegiate tournament round with a score of 161.

The Tornados finish up the Dana Rader Intercollegiate Golf Tournament tomorrow morning at the Ballentyne Resort in Charlotte, N.C.
