CHARLOTTE, N.C. - The Brevard College men's and women's cross country team competed in the Royals Cross Country Challenge, hosted by Queens University of Charlotte on Friday.

On the women's side,
Molly Perry led the way with a top-50 finish in the 5k. The first-year Tornado from Stanhope, N.J. finished 47th with a personal-record of 21:13.46.
AJ Fisher also PR'd in 22:14.56, while
Victoria Sylvester hit her personal best of 26:42.53.
Makynna McDonald and
Katie Woody completed their first collegiate events as well.

Colbin Hill (28:23.5),
Ethan Carlan (28:35.3), and
Matthew Harris (28:37.3) led the way for Brevard on the men's side, while
Shea Granger (29:17.7),
Alexander Rich (29:28.8), and
Adin DeJesus (30:03.6) also competed for the Tornados.

Brevard returns to action next Saturday, October 18 at 10:30 a.m. in Salem, Va. at the Roanoke XC Invitational.
