FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The 10-time national champion Brevard College Cycling program competed in the 2025 USA Cycling Collegiate Cyclocross National Championships, held at Centennial Park at Millsap Mountain in Fayetteville, Arkansas, with collegiate action taking place on Thursday and Friday, December 11-12.
The Tornados finished third overall in the Team Omnium, while
Nicole Bradbury earned bronze in the Women's Collegiate Varsity race. BC's Team Relay squad of Bradbury,
Elli Clark,
Matthew Leliveld, and
Cole Punchard took third in the team relay race, marking the final collegiate race of Bradbury, Leliveld, and Punchard's careers.
Bradbury, a native of Hamilton, Ontario, Canada, took third place in the Collegiate Women Varsity race Thursday, finishing just behind champion Lizzy Gunsalus of Marian, and runner-up Makena Kellerman of Colorado Mesa. BC secured four top-10 finishers in the event, with Clark (sixth),
Madeleine Pollock (seventh), and
Lily-Rose Marois (eighth) rounding out the top finishers for Brevard.
On the men's side Thursday, Punchard earned 14
th place in the Collegiate Men's Varsity race, while Leliveld secured 16
th.
The always-thrilling Team Relay capped off collegiate action on Friday, where BC's squad of Bradbury, Clark, Leliveld, and Punchard placed third behind champion Marian and runner-up Colorado Mesa.
