BREVARD, N.C. – Three Brevard College cross country student-athletes were named USA South Athletes of the Week following a successful weekend of competition at the Swags Louisville Cross Country Classic.
Ethan Carlan secured Runner of the Week honors, while
Caden Fuller and
Karley Call each secured Rookie of the Week accolades.
Carlan, a Jasper, Georgia junior placed 60th out of 278 runners at the Swags Louisville Cross Country Classic last week. Carlan completed the 8,000-meter course in time of 27:40.
Fuller, a Pleasant Garden, North Carolina freshman placed 119th out of 278 runners at the Swags Louisville Cross Country Classic last week. Fuller completed the 8,000-meter course in time of 28:41.
Call, a Millers Creek, North Carolina freshman placed 141st out of 200 runners at the Swags Louisville Cross Country Classic last week. Call completed the 5,000-meter course in time of 23:16.
The Tornados are back in action next weekend at the Upstate Invite on Saturday, October 17 at 9 a.m. in Spartanburg, South Carolina.
