Josh Hall

Josh Hall has been tabbed as the Director of Track & Field at Brevard College, announced Director of Athletics Myranda Nash.

Hall's duties at BC will begin effective June 1, 2023. Brevard's Darryll Patrick, who has served in both the Head Cross Country and Track & Field roles since 2019, will shift to Head Cross Country Coach and aide Hall as Assistant Track & Field Coach.

"We are excited to welcome Coach Hall to the Tornados family," said Nash. "His understanding of the overall student-athlete experience, ability to build relationships, and his expertise in the sport of track and field makes him an ideal leader for the Tornados."

Hall comes to Brevard College after most recently serving as the Interim Director of Cross Country and Track & Field at Guilford College in Greensboro, North Carolina.

"I am excited and blessed to have the opportunity to be the Director of Track and Field at Brevard College," commented Hall. "I am excited to work with a great administration, staff, and school. I am looking forward to working with the student-athletes, both present and future, of Brevard College and hope to win championships along the way."

Hall served as the Interim Director of Cross Country and Track & Field at Guilford for the 2022-23 season, taking charge of all recruiting and budgeting for the program. While under Hall's tutelage, the Quakers compiled one long jump and two thrower all-conference performances, 12 school records, and several personal records.

Prior to taking the helm for the Quaker program, Hall served as an Assistant Cross Country and Track & Field Coach at NCAA DII King University in Bristol, Tennessee. While pursuing his Master's degree in Sport Administration from Western Carolina University, Hall was also a graduate assistant track & field coach in the Spring of 2021 for the Catamounts. In addition to serving as a GA on the WCU staff, Hall also gained administrative experience in the Catamount athletic department serving as an intern to Deputy Athletic Director Kyle Pifer.

Hall was a four-year student-athlete at Lees-McRae College in Banner Elk, North Carolina, earning a Bachelor's degree in Health & Wellness Human Performance graduating in the Spring of 2020 before concluding his Master's of Sport Administration at Western Carolina in the Winter of 2021.
