Head Coach Donald Hudson concluded his ninth season at the helm of the BC Tornados Women's Basketball program in 2024-25. Hudson leads a BC WBB program that has become a perinnial postseason condender after qualifying for the USA South Conference Tournament in each of the last five seasons.
Hudson lead the program to its first conference-level postseason berth in the 2020-21 season. Hudson and the Tornados earned the four-seed in the 2020-21 USA South Conference West Division Tournament after finishing the regular season with a 6-5 record in conference play. The postseason appearance marked the first in the program's now 15-year NCAA-era history.
Hudson enters his 11th year overall working for Brevard College Athletics, as Hudson began his coaching career following his graduation from Brevard in 2011. Hudson was part of both the football and basketball programs.
Hudson enjoyed a very successful playing career while a student-athlete at Brevard College. During his 2009-10 season at Brevard, Hudson was an integral part of the men’s basketball team that captured the program's first-ever bid into an NCAA tournament at the Food Lion South Atlantic Conference Championship, going 21-10 overall and 10-6 in league games.
