Gardina recently earned her Master of Science in Athletic Training from West Chester University after graduating summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from the University of North Dakota.
Â
Throughout her graduate studies, Gardina gained extensive, hands-on experience working with a wide variety of athletic populations. Â
Her additional experience includes working with football at James Madison University, women's gymnastics at West Chester University, and multiple sports at Williamson College of the Trades, where she assisted in emergency response care and developed individualized rehabilitation programs.
Â
In addition to her clinical work, Gardina served as a Graduate Assistant at West Chester University, contributing to the education and development of future athletic trainers through instructional support and program administration. She also brings valuable experience in patient care from her role as a pharmacy technician, where she developed strong communication, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
Â
An active member of the National Athletic Trainers' Association and related professional organizations, Gardina is dedicated to continued professional growth and advancement in the field. She holds certifications in Basic Life Support, concussion management, and officiating through USA Lacrosse, where she has served as a youth official for several years.
